Medicare has established a benefit for those with diabetic foot complication that include footwear and special diabetic insoles (arch supports). Your clinic can be accredited in order to bill Medicare directly for these prescribed shoes and inserts. Call or email us and we can help you through the process of becoming accredited.
Your clinic will also be able to bill any other third party insurance, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield for example, that have the same diabetic benefit (most do).
The diabetic shoe must also go through an approval process through Medicare (PDAC) in order to qualify for these benefits. All five styles of our shoes have been approved, and meet or exceed Medicare guidelines.
