The Original People of the Americas FootCare Initiative™ is asking qualified professionals that are trained and credentialed in diabetic foot care, to join our initiative to wipe out major amputations among the high risk population in our Native communities throughout the Americas. Please sign in and we will send you a list of the Native Health clinics in your area. We will do everything we can to assist in the endeavor to contact the Health Director and/ or a Tribal council member in your area involved in their diabetic program for the clinic, in order to help facilitate your involvement in their diabetic program.

Our DVD, "The Hu Hu Kam Experience" is available upon request. This DVD explains the high incidence of Type 2 diabetes that plague our Native communities, and the reasons for it. It shows how we were able to successfully put together a comprehensive limb salvage program within an American Indian community that was experiencing the highest documented major amputation rates per capita in the world, and for the last almost 20 years we have helped drop the amputation rate by over 80%,
