The uppers are carefully hand lasted with specially tanned sheep skin leather, soft and supple yet durable and able to hold its shape. Each pair is fully leather lined with soft padded cow hide without inside seams in the areas that would irritate the insensate diabetic foot. Each pair of shoes comes with a specifically designed removable arch support constructed of a medical grade Plastazote® top cover and a shock absorbing resilient foam base. This is one of the best combinations of insole materials for the protection of diabetic plantar foot complications. The pressure reducing rocker bottom outsole is made of a light weight, shock absorbing EVA/Rubber combination, designed to wrap around and cup the foot for greater side to side, medial and lateral support and balance resulting in a superior designed shoe for our diabetic population.
